A five-minute field trip

The hidden systems
behind every day.

Turn the levers. Follow the flow. Meet the people who keep water clean, lights on, and bread moving.

Departures every minute

Pick a system to run

No score. No timer. Just make a working system—and then see what happens when something changes.

Your control desk is ready

Choose one of the three routes above to start. Each trip takes about five minutes.

The grown-up noticeboard

Simple on purpose.
Truthful about the trade-offs.

These are intuition-builders, not engineering tools. Each model keeps the important relationship—like speed versus quality—while leaving out real-world detail. The “Who does this?” notes connect every lever to a job.

How to use this with a child or class

First ask for a prediction. Move one lever, name what changed, then try the fault. In watch mode, pause after each caption and ask what you would do next.
